Robert Louis Stevenson's thrilling tale of pirates, treasure maps, mutiny on the high seas and pieces of eight follows Jim Hawkins, an ordinary youth drawn into a dangerous race for buried treasure against the treacherous Long John Silver. As the Robert Louis Stevenson himself wrote, "If this don't fetch the kids, why, they have gone rotten since my day."
This is a production that the cast can be expanded to have as many pirates and sailors as you want. The score is rich with sea shanties and exciting songs of sailing on the high seas plus some beautiful ballads to balance out this exciting musical production
As with all Prince Street Players' shows, the materials for Treasure Island include spectacularly detailed costume designs, prop descriptions, and stage notes should they be needed by the creative team.
